What a man! What a genius! What a legacy! As you may know, OUR #PHARAOH, jazz legend & my spiritual teacher & best friend, Kelan Phil Cohran, has left this plane. He is now in complete Harmony with the musical spheres of time and space, as he always was. One of the greatest mind of our time, he was a Scientist, astronomer, inventor, anthropologist, herbist/ healer, prophet (astrology), master musician, composer, historian, sociologist, & spiritual scientist to name a few. Quite the selfless man, he was a super star that dedicated his whole life to the evolution of the community. And in turn, we were his devoted family. He could have easily been living comfortably in a mansion somewhere. But instead, he chose to continue to speak out against injustice and the tainted power structure. He fought for our right to black excellence. The way that we can honor him, is to not let OUR music & our birthright slip through our fingers. And be our beautiful black selves, unapologetically.
