Hello, I turned my dog into a chicken

Inktober Day 05: Chicken
I know it’s not a traditional chicken... but today fit my puppy Max far too well. Just yesterday he freaked out on our walk because there was a plastic bag from someone’s garbage floating along down the road and he couldn’t keep it together. This dog, I swear, is afraid of EVERYTHING, I have no idea how this came to be but he is. What a chicken.
Right now I am listening to:

Happy Halloween 2016
I was aimlessly wandering down Young Street yesterday when the crowds got to me. I ventured off to check out the Ryerson campus, and was delighted to find a hot dog stand near the intersection of Victoria and Gould.
The vendor was preparing to leave, but quickly returned to his station the second I approached. Of all the hot dog stands I’ve come across in Toronto thus far, this one had the cheapest prices by far. 3 dollars for a jumbo dog? Heck yeah, dear reader, mother hecking yeah.
I bought myself a chicken dog and began loading it up. The difference between a good hot dog stand and a bad one is one simple thing in my opinion: bacon bits. I like to add my base condiments first, then add a layer of bacon bits to add an extra crunch. I went with ketchup and honey mustard, added the bacon bits, and then added some green olives for good measure. I was unsure if I was in the mood for relish, so I added it to only half of the chicken dog, this way having the best of both worlds. Finally, I added a crispy fried topping that was potentially onions. I’d never seen them before, but by the looks of it seemed like a standard on campus. You can probably tell by now I am always in favour of adding a crunchy texture to my dogs.
The hot dog was great, the bun could have been toasted a little more, but at 3 dollars I couldn’t complain. One thing that really through me off was that after a few bites, things began to taste pretty spicy. Could the mustards have been mislabelled? Or was it human error on my end? No matter, the accidental spice turned out to be a great addition. I would love to return to this hot dog stand, if only I hadn’t gotten my university degree 8 years prior.
One quick note, I had hand washed my jeans earlier in the day and was feeling pretty confidant about it. Halfway through my dog, I noticed ketchup all over my pant leg. What a travesty! It’s not the fault of the hot dog vendor, so I can’t let it affect my review, although it certainly added to my experience. For my next review I will be sure to go easy on my base condiments, and load up on the bacon bits. Unless of course it’s a veggie dog! I don’t like to mix that sort of thing up.
My camera is having a temper tantrum and won't work :/ anyways, it's raining outside and since I was grilling chicken of course I made the whole house full of smoke. Thus we needed to open all windows and doors. So here I am sitting on the bench on our step watching the rain come and go as my dog sits by the door (on the inside) because she is a chicken and is terrified of the rain and does not understand why I'm just sitting here.
