Tendou Satori x fem!Reader 💜: Valentine’s day
AN: yeah i know its still like over a month away BUT i love him so so much hehe no warnings just tooth rotting fluff
You expected your first Valentine’s day in Paris to be much bigger of an event, being the city of love, but thanks to both of your hectic schedules you were spending it at home together. You stepped into the house, shaking the snow off your boots in the doorway before taking them off and throwing them into the pile with the other shoes.
“Satori!” You called into the house and got no response. “Chicken Tender?” You called again. Nothing.
You huffed loudly before climbing up the stairs, he better not have forgotten about your plans. You made as much noise as you could going up the stairs to alert him of your presence and need of attention.
When you found him, he was in the kitchen, putting the finishing touches on dinner from the look of it. You spied a giant bouquet of red roses that had balloons attached to it and a tiny stuffed bear sitting in front of them on the counter. Your heart swelled in your chest at the sight of them and your mind raced with names for your new plushie friend.
“There’s my pretty girl!” He smiled widely at you before walking over and picking you up to spin you around in a hug. You held on tightly to him, laughter filling the room from both of you, any worries gone in an instant from the joy he brought you.
“Happy Valentine’s day!” He put you back down and placed a gentle kiss to your forehead. “Since we can’t really go out, I made your favorite for dinner and a pretty kick ass pillow fort. Then for dessert I made my prettiest girl her favorite chocolate covered strawberries. It might not be the Aux Bons Crus but-” You cut his sentence off by kissing him with feeling, he was caught off guard for a moment but steadied himself on the edge of the counter. Your lips molded to his, the kiss still putting butterflies in your stomach despite how long you had been together.
“You asshole.” You laughed, trying to stop yourself from crying once you pulled away. “I don’t need the Aux Bons Crus when I wake up next to the greatest chocolatier in all of France.”
“I just guessed what you needed most. Glad I was correct.” He chuckled, a gentle blush coating his cheeks. God he was too cute, the light from the candles bouncing off his red eyes made your breath catch in your throat.
“Oh! I almost forgot your present!!" You race around him, and pull a bag that you hid in the closet out. You race back and offer the back to him with a wide grin.
"Awww thank you pookie." He laughed, taking the bag and pulling you in for another kiss. You had made him a jar full of reasons why you loved him, a custom CD of songs that reminded you of him, and a matching keychain set.
"How dare you know that handmade gifts are my love language." Satori tried to sound mad but his voice cracked with tears as he kissed all over your face.
"It's almost like we've been dating since high school." You laugh and pinch his cheek before helping him set up dinner.
“Do you remember our first date?” You asked when you sat down with your plates for dinner.
“The movie night when the whole team abandoned me and you were flirting with me the entire night and I had no idea? I would hardly qualify that but that’s when you kissed me for the first time.” Satori laughed but his cheeks tinted a nice red that matched his hair.
“I felt so bad telling everyone it was canceled that night but I was tired of hearing you complain about how no one liked you. God you might have been the guess monster but you were as dense as Ushi when it came to love.” You rolled your eyes at him, remembering your own frustrations as clear as yesterday.
“I guess I just needed someone to teach me.” He taunted before leaning over and kissing your cheek. You laughed and reminisced about old times before cleaning up dinner, grabbing the snacks then entering the absolutely badass pillow fort he had made. You walked into the pillow fort without problem, standing in wait for him to enter. He followed behind you, his tall lanky frame causing him to duck down pretty far before he settled into the blankets and pulled you onto his lap.
“Thank you for showing me everything about love.” He kissed your cheek before relaxing back further.
“Happy Valentine’s day my love." You settled down further in his arms and put a movie on with a content sigh.
