“His mother hinted at some of what he’s been through over the years, but even without knowing that, it’s - . He’s hardened, bitter. And yet . . . “ Harry’s voice trailed off, the appropriate words escaping him.

“He’s a very attractive young man,” Anne prodded.

“This isn’t The Bachelor, Mum. I’m not going to win a rose and a proposal at the end of the contract.” Harry paused, the lights of the hotel lobby beckoning through the glass doors in front of him. Instead of entering, he settled onto a bench to the side, his long legs stretched out in front of him while he contemplated his next words. “I’d settle for being his friend. Jay, his mum, intimated that he doesn’t have many people he trusts. I . . . I think I’d like to be counted amongst them.”

(PART1, because this is going to be long) Hello! I came back just to let you know that I just finished the fic (I'm still crying, I'm not even kidding) HOLY SHIT!! Is amazing!! Like I told you, I've been here for a little more than a year so obviously I didn't know a lot of things that happened back in those days. God! It's incredible all those articles about Caroline and whatever, for a minute I thought those weren't real. What a journey really. It's so well written, the story is amazing!

(PART 2) I cried a few times, I'm not gonna lie, specially with the MSG show and all that! (Don't want be a spoiler if you publish this) I'm seriously in love with this story! And God!!! Nick speech!! That's so me!!! That's why I'm here, I feel like that's something I would actually say because it's true so yeah, that was intense for me. Congrats really, you are an amazing writer! hi!! oh my gosh, thanks so so so much! (sorry for the tears, haha.) hp wasn’t really meant to be a fandom primer but it sort of works that way, doesn’t it? yeah the caroline articles... the only good thing i can say about them is in that time, it’s clear harry and louis both still saw all that as a joke, so they probably didn’t take it to heart like later articles. 

omg, msg took me sooooo long to write. it was not angsty enough, then it was too angsty, then it was too short. so i’m glad you liked it, a lot of work went into it! and nick’s speech was something i wrote months before i even knew what all would happen in the epilogue, but i knew i needed nick and ed both to show their sappiest sides.
