WISHING DURING 11:11 IS SOMEWHAT EFFECTIVE
Akala ko talaga devastated na ang araw ko. I was late for 38 mins and that means a deduction from my salary. Panglimang late ko na 'to to think na bago pa lang ako rito. It really is a blemish in my image.
And then came Spurs vs Nuggets. Many said that it would be an easy game for the guys because the latter is not in good shape right now. But I always believe that Spurs are the underdog ones in every game they play para good karma. Haha. Anyway, I had to reply to a certain tweet saying that Spurs will just eat Chicken Nuggets during the game. I said that we have to be not so sure.
So over the three quarters, I was disappointed. I didn't tweet that much unlike what I did to the two games earlier. I am pretty sure that other Spurs fans did the same thing. I even attempted to close all my Spurs tabs just to lessen the disappointment. I also lost my appetite especially when the lead was up by two digits. Onto the 4th quarter, I saw my guys gaining points. Thanks to Mills for narrowing Nuggets' lead because of his three. Then Diaw became aggressive and nailed a couple of twos and threes. Though Denver still scores, Spurs already trailed them. Parker is reliable as always, and thanks to his pure FTs. Duncan was also obliged to continue the lead as well as Kawhi.
5 mins left and I finally enjoyed my meal. I tweeted again. I flooded the feed with the hashtag #GoSpursGo to show that I was happy with the bittersweet lead.
At para magkasilbi ang title nito, nasaktuhan ko kasing 11:11 am sa PC ko. Eh sabi di ba mag-wish ka raw do'n at baka matupad. So ginawa ko. Mukhang tanga ako kung isinaboses ko 'yung dasal ko swear. Pang-fantard kasi. Sabi ko sana huwag ako ma-double whammy kasi di ko kakayanin kung late na nga ako ngayon tapos uuwi pang luhaan ang Spurs. So thank you, Lord at tinupad mo. 3-1 :)
Bukas, may laban na naman. Sana manalo. Sana rin pala, hindi na ako ma-late kasi wala na akong suswelduhin sa totoo lang at hindi talaga maganda ang ma-late. Di ko naman madadaan sa paghiling every 11:11 ang pagpasok ko on or before time.
