Yup! Like, I understand, your life is busy, and schools sometimes give out the “what you need for this year” list sort of late, but for school supply buying, or for christmas gift buying, or for anything... please, for the love of your sanity, and for ours (the retail workers), do not wait until the last minute. And do not take it out on us for you waiting for the last minute to do everything. Procrastination is a helluva thing and it’s more anxiety inducing than if you go early. And you can do bits and pieces as you go. Gotta run out to get milk? Pick up a notebook, or a folder, along the way. Got to go get sugar? Pick up a stuffed animal, or some stocking stuffing candy bars. Little things as you do other things really eases the anxiety-induced-turmoil and will keep you from shrieking at the retail workers for their lack of having things in stock (read: THINGS SELLING OUT BY THE NATURAL ORDER OF RETAIL BUSINESS).
I used to be like this, but I’ve learned to slowly train myself to do things along the way. Do I need gas? Might as well pick up one or two things I know I’ll need in the future. Of course, permitting my funds allow this, heh!
