I introduced Maddie to my chicken friends. They live in a corner lot next to a busy street. There really is nothing keeping them there, no tall fence, just a small decorative wire separator. I’m not sure if the land if the lot is open to the public so I stay behind the small barrier and the chickens meet me on the other side. It looks like they have a warming tent to go stay on the cold days. That’s where they were all headed in single file when we said goodbye to them. It was very cold out but despite this they wanted to be outside to visit the small exposed patches of grass of the season.
