Great news! Sylvia is doing AWESOME and her digestive system seems to be functioning normally! She more than DOUBLED her weight since her visit two weeks ago with twice a day hand feedings and medication to make her feel better. Also, what seemed to be an intestinal blockage of undigested grass or straw has resolved! She’s coming home on one more week of meds to treat any lingering infection and we are so happy!! Little Love is doing well too, maintaining her weight, and the implant has stopped ovulation so no further egg matter builds up besides what is already stuck in her oviduct. She’s coming home on more antibiotics and anti-inflammatories to prepare her body for surgery on February 10th. Morning !! The girls are loving roaming the garden scoffing insects ! But their favourite thing seems to be / coming to the back door to look at the dog through the glass.... I have a feeling - he is their entertainment- and they look through the glass at him ( us) like we would the animals at the zoo!! 😂😂 If you swipe.. you ll see what I m gong to be making and hanging in the eggloo for chickaletta and in the shed for the girls... festive food bunting!!
