It's been a while since Season 2 of Station 19 being aired but, spoiler alert nonetheless.
Okay, so. I have just started watching Station 19 and...Chief Ripley...I. Am. Sobbing.
I feel like the last time a character's death hit me this hard was like at the end of SPN or something when you know they're not just going to suddenly reappear healthy and alive and this was just some big dream (nightmare).
I think I sobbed all the way through the episode. We all know Grey's world can put people through the ringer, even when everything seems harmless but...the proposal? Insanely cute! The flowers? Schmitt making an appearance?
(truth be told I haven't watched a lot of Grey's recently but it's still nice to see a familiar face)
But when Pierce came out and was all quiet...nope. Couldn't do it. Then playing "the family card"? (what the hell?!) All the flashbacks? The nickname? 🥹 Eggy and Hubby? I wanted to see more of them pretending to be the married couple before they actually got married! WHY?! Just...WHY?! I was so invested in their relationship!!! The meet-ugly to a new meet cute, the tension, the forbidden romance (that kiss in the dark before the lights came back on -- oh, my, god), telling their friends, finding the loophole....
But when Ripley asked for her and Travis went with her...and their final moments together...
😭😭😭😭😭
It's just too much.
