hey i saw your question in the dai tag and in origins to become adults the elves had to prove themselves by bringing back something they hunted and killed themselves. this could be part of getting the vallaslin, by proving themselves to the rest of the clan. not sure if this is confirmed but it is something to think about! i hope it was useful!

But today I thought that I somehow based my head canon concept of adulthood in elven culture on the fact that you`re concidered "adult" when you reach 18 in my counry. Well.
