Can I be a lesbian and selfship with fictional men? The problem is I’m only attracted to women IRL. I do not want to date a man or enbies: just women. However, in Selfshipping I don’t really care, but I don’t want people to think I’m a fake lesbian for selfshipping with a man.

I did identify as bisexual for a long time, but I found myself not feeling attraction towards men, being unhappy in relationships with men, but being super happy, nervous, and giggle around women, etc. Even when I told my closest friend that I thought I might be a lesbian he told me that he didn't know how I didn’t realize sooner.

I tried talking to my therapist about it, but she’s straight so she doesn’t understand. I don’t have an option to find a new therapist. I’ve always preferred women, even identifying as bisexual. I’m worried this might be a symptom of compulsory heterosexuality.
