for the most part yes! i like introspective character-study fics (you know, the 20k atmospheric ones with long titles in lowercase), which are usually the kind i like to write too, lol. i also appreciate people who can write better action sequences than i can, and tend to go for more canon-divergent fics than aus!

favorite thing about them: I’m still in the camp that  believes aspity was genuinely popped out from the earth and I just love the idea that she’s a shabnak-adyr. How cool is that?

least favorite thing about them: it’s not even really a least favourite thing about HER but i wish the writing gave a bit more of a spotlight to developing her feelings on isidor or even a confrontation w artemy and her on the true nature of what he did in 2. u really only get the reflection talking about how her love for isidor isn’t quite aligned w the person he truly is and not really?? much to develop that?? 

favorite line: “You are a true emshen, a true knower of the Lines. You chose the path of love. The path of pity. You took pity on us, the weak, the dying, the doomed...” GOD IT FUCKS ME UP

brOTP: its not even a brotop because they dont like each other but the mlm wlw hosiltity between daniil and aspity is genuinely one of the funniest things in the entirety of pathologic. love that for them.

OTP: I don’t really have anyone tbh?? There’s some fantastic fic exploring how she would interact w Mark Immortal but it was in a non romantic context so im not sure if that counts fkdjfkld

nOTP: artemy/aspity is a big one for me. i played 2 before i played classic so now i cant unsee the mother/son dynamic between them which classic didnt originally have kshdfjksd

random headcanon: Her bones as a shabnak-adyr are artemy’s mother’s :(((((

unpopular opinion: i don’t know if i have any?? oh yeah stop whitewashing her in fan art would be great.
