CHILD ACE WITH GUARDIAN READER (Child Au!)
Ace is a problem-prone child whose ways of seeking attention and approval are sometimes questionable.
The biggest reason he gets into trouble is that he says his opinions too directly.
He has called Leona a cat, Kalim an idiot, and Lilia a bat as your example.
Ace is also a very energetic child who can run and scream for hours.
He loves to practice card tricks and be with you.
He cunningly tries to be cool in the eyes of other children and you.
usually, however, he fails badly.
Ace is also the kid who tries not to cry in public.
However, he loves it when you comfort him but only if you do it so no one else can see it.
He wants your attention but he doesn’t want to seem weak so that’s why Ace sometimes bullies other kids.
You need to give a very long lecture on why he is not allowed to do so.
( and since Ace stopped listening halfway through you have to repeat the lecture)
He will give you homemade gifts and drawings.
if you put any of them in the fridge door Ace will be proud and bragging to everyone about it.
Soon other kids will be making a lot of drawings for you because they want the same treatment as Ace.
Sooo, sick fic? One Piece sick fic, anything except sad.
“Ace,” Luffy whines, his nose stuffed up and his throat aching as he tries to pull his blanket further around him. It feels like there’s ice sliding underneath the edges of the blanket tucked under his sides.
“I thought idiots couldn’t catch colds,” Ace sighs, but Luffy can see him coming closer, slightly blurry, and tucking another blanket in around him. “Still cold?”
Luffy shakes his head, whining when it makes him feel dizzy, burying his face into his pillow to avoid the way everything starts spinning. It’s cold and everything is gross and clammy, which is even worse then his throat’s ache and his how he can’t breath out of his nose.
“You’re still too warm,” Ace mutters, pushing Luffy’s hair back. Luffy pouts when Ace takes his hand back, because he’s warm and Luffy wants to be warm too. “Can you stay here for a minute? I’ll get something for you to drink.”
“You’ll come back?”
Ace smiles, it’s not happy, but it’s a real smile, “I’ll be back. You need to stay hydrated. Shitty Gramps said so and Dadan did too.”
“Not here?”
“Nah, I was sick once when Shitty Gramps came to visit. I remember him saying that much,” Ace moves away and Luffy wishes he hadn’t. “I’ll be back soon, do you want another blanket?”
“No, I’m okay,” Luffy coughs, curling up tighter as his throat burns. “Sleepy.”
“I’ll be right back, promise.”
Ace sighs when he climbs back into the tree house to find Luffy asleep, his face half buried in his pillow and shivering, even under three of the thickest blankets that they had. He digs another out and tucks it in around him too, pushing Luffy’s hair back from where it’s sticking to his forehead and frowning.
“Still too hot,” Ace mutters, wetting a washcloth and pressing it to his forehead. “You’re not allowed to get more sick, you got that?”
Luffy doesn’t answer, breathing slow and steady.
Ace smiles, “Good.”

Sabo couldn’t understand why Ace was so stubborn to be his friend, but he didn’t give up since they really would get along if the other let him. So, he continued to go to the Grey Terminal to the point he followed Ace to a small ‘base’ of sorts and confronted the other. Ace was fiercely snapping at him to the point that he had been shoved and locked out of the base. Of course, Sabo had been upset at the development until one day he came across Ace yelling at some patrons by a bar.
The ‘patrons’ seemed to not like Ace’s attitude before there was a fight, Sabo being amazed at how strong Ace was and couldn’t help but follow after when he ran for it. Some other citizens cursing after him, saying they would tell some guy named ‘Garp’ about this. Sabo ignored it all as he went after the other to find him hiding out along the border area of the woods to the mountains, reminding him of like a jungle.
“Do you need help with those?” Sabo had asked, startling the other who soon turned with a glare and growl before Sabo just rolled eyes. “I’m just offering to help, you really could tone it down and swat at me once I help you clean those. Do you know of a stream near here?” The words are to blow off Ace’s attitude, but show how he wanted to help and it was starting to dawn on the other about what is going on. Soon Ace reluctantly starts walking, Sabo following as he hadn’t been hissed at so it was a good sign.
They make it to the small stream, Sabo immediately helping the other to clean up from blood that wasn’t his and the scrapes he earned. He kept it quiet as he was just happy the other was letting him help and hopefully getting closer to the other. After noticing he wouldn’t need too much to cover the wounds, Sabo asks if he had any band aids at his house to help. There is a frown on Ace, giving a confused stare before crossing arms.
“Why do you care so much?” The question comes out a lot more calmer this time than the past times and Sabo lets out a breath with a slight complaint.
“I told you… I want to be friends with you…” It seems the answer hits Ace a bit hard as he is scowling before moving to get up and soon starts making his way up the mountain more.
“You’re gonna wish you’d never have met me…” The whisper is there, hurting Sabo a bit to hear at how much it carried a heavy weight to it and he moves to walk next to the other with eyes ahead.
“I could say the same…” It’s a low whisper as well, getting dark eyes to look at him in confusion, but not meeting the look as they walk in silence. “But I guess…” Sabo starts with a bit of a small turning the corner of his lips up. “That’s what makes us seem to relate more…”

"Their still hunting!" Sabo cried. You looked left and right to see luffy and Ace are here, but their aren't here.
You have no choice but to climb the trees. (Oh yeah, your power is sumon nightmare monster and transform one the same thing as black female reader x shanks)
You trund your hands to claws like grey fox same thing as your foot, you took off your shoes.
You start climbing, and Sabo is shocked to see. A wind blew by so hard that caused sabo to lose his balance and fall.
You watch sabo Fall. You jump off the tree and grab sabo. As you grab him, you see you about to hit the ground. You trun your body instead of sabo, but you hold tight on him.
Your back hit the ground, causing you to spit out of blood out of your mouth. "(Y/N)!!!!" Sabo yelled out your name.
You lifted yourbody, "sabo, are you al-". "I'm sorry, ace, luffy, and I planned this!!! We thought that if you were really that strong to become a pirate!!!"
"(Y/N) I'm sorry!!!" You trunaround to see luffy coming towards you, hug you. So, as ace, they both started crying.
"It's okay. I'm alright, it just some blood, "no, it not!!! We cause a lot of trouble. We shouldn't have listened to you!!!" Ace yelled.
"Hey, hey, don't cry. Looks. When I was your age, I fell down on the ground and hurt my knees, but my mother always told me that whenever we cried, we do it with a smile"
You said, smiled with your two fingers. "Like this?" Said luffy holding his cheek, trund his mouth to a smile (still crying).
After that, you guys went. You gave luffy a piggyback ride cause he cried like baby. "So your mother said whenever you cried, you do it with a smile?" Sabo question.
You nodded your head. "She also sang me a lullaby to me." "Can we hear it?" Luffy question. You sang (it sounds like nezuko mother lullaby from demon slayer).
"Hush baby, baby bunny on the hill, tell me why your eyes are so very red, Because when my mother was expecting me, she dined on red berries from a tree, and that is why my eyes are so very red"
"So when you eyes are red cause you were your mother tummy and she ate the bright red berries!" Said luffy.
You giggle as you may it back, you and luffy ace and sabo ate, dadan still mad at the boys who were big trouble. You don't mind, you take the boys to bed.
"Goodnight boys, sweet dreams"
When you are about to close the door, you see, luffy shaking. Maybe he cold doesn't have his blanket, you put blanket on him he say this "goodnight mom" he said fall a asleep.
You smile at him and kiss him on the forehead, so as the other.
