relationship between third and seventh function

for example, for entp, that would be fe and fi. note how both feeling functions. or for an infp, third function would be si and seventh se. note how both sensing functions.

seventh function goes entirely unused. for example, intjs and istjs won’t use fe for shit. OR intps and infps won’t use se unless they are absolutely have to. they hate forceful sensing. OR entjs and enfjs can’t care less about si comfort.  they can exhaust themselves to maximum level and they would notice that way too late.

so if seventh function (aka polr) “works” like this, how does it affect third function? third functions ends up getting no help from seventh at all.

in contrast, second function gets help from sixth. for example, an entp’s ti construct itself from te knowledge. read some philosophers, read some psychologists, eliminate certain parts from others’ way of thinking and then combine 3,5 similar things in a way so it makes “better sense” now.

fi from seventh slot doesn’t help entp’s fe the same way. entps (and estps) “fe understanding” comes more from ti. extps undersand fe in a logical way and not in an organic way. fe harmony for extp more like a ti ideology. it doesn’t stem from inner fi sensitivity.

as a result, beebe calls third slot “eternal child”. a very fitting name. childs also can be brutal with their jokes and they might tell you how you have a big nose or whatever (if we are thinking third slot fe). OR childs can be very lazy and they might not want to go to school (if we are thinking third slot si).
