Thralls of Power is a fan animatic series about The Legend of Zelda set between the ending of Ocarina of Time and the distant past evoked as Twilight Princess' backstory. While it aims to honor and celebrate the legacy of the wonderful Legend of Zelda game series, it intends to take some liberties regarding tone and themes, and is more aligned with dark fantasy than what the regular games tend to gravitate towards.

It took me two years to complete this first episode, give or take, lots of late evenings, and an absolutely indecent amount of hot beverages. It unfortunately does not feature voice actors, but has a fully original score (that will be released too eventually!!), and will be eventually be captioned in English, French, and Portuguese (I'm not done with the translations but it's in the works!).

I am BEYOND thrilled (and terrified) to finally share with you this labor of love on Ocarina of Time's 27th birthday as my thank you to the series and its passionate audience of fans.

Decided to make child Zelda to go with my child Link au (along with a small Child!Link redesign).

Zelda's crown is inspired by the past child Zelda's, with her outfit primarily taking inspiration from OOT and WW Zelda's outfit while also making it seem a bit more on the simple side cause this is post BOTW

I love the design of Princess Zelda in Ocarina of Time, and this color palette really brought her to mind. Throw in a little "Girl with a Pearl Earring" (because inevitably, head scarfs will always remind of that piece) and you get this. Send me a character and a color palette!

In Majora's Mask, Zelda says she and Link spent quite some time together post Ocarina of Time. Not only is this because he missed the bond they had in the other timeline, but because Zelda recognizes Link both from her dreams and her own memories of the other timeline. She remembers chunks of the other timeline like one remembers a dream; and for that very reason, she refuses to tell Link what she remembers. She doesn't know if HE remembers. All she knows is that she turned back time for a reason: to give Link back his childhood. And she'll make sure that he can keep it, even if it sacrifices her having someone to talk to about the constant nightmares of a war she fought in another life...
