Lane Smith (illustrator of The Stinky Cheese Man, The True Story of the 3 Little Pigs, and Grandpa Green) and Karey Kirkpatrick's James and the Giant Peach

Based on the Selick film of course, which Lane Smith did concept and character design for.

Also a few noticeable changes in the climax there, with this version keeping in the cloud men from the original novel AS WELL AS the Rhino and Spiker and Sponge.

It's rather cheap to find, especially on paper back, so I highly recommend anyone who's a fan of the movie find a copy of their own.

I have run out of patience for folks that treat my pronouns like a pop quiz. One of the reasons you might be having problems using people's correct pronouns is because you haven't reassessed your preconceived notions about gender. You're trying to memorize pronouns like a grocery list. When you tell me that you'll eventually remember my pronouns or that sometimes you will forget... I privately think that you don't believe trans people are who they say they are & you are just trying to come off as a nice person. The next cis-person that gives me a long-winded speech about remembering pronouns and how hard it is... I will call them every name under the sun but their own. Memorizing and learning are not the same things. To learn something is to understand it. Memorizing is just recall; you should save it for the next time you need to remember to buy milk, not when you are talking about someone's identity.
