CHILDREN’S LITURGY

While the Church advises children to participate in the liturgy with their parents to foster a Christian spirit within the family, children can sometimes feel neglected because of their inability to understand what is happening and what is being proclaimed at the celebration.

As such, Children’s Liturgy is made available in some parishes in a separate (but not too distant) room during the Liturgy of the Word. It aims to break down the Gospel message and present it to the children in a simple and comprehensible way.
