“Alive?” His head twitches just slightly as he says the word, the (currently) blue LED on the side of his head whirring as he processes it. The little creature in his hand, being held upright by the furry scruff, was still wriggling so he figured it must be. Yes, indeed. Alive.

Did the little girl want it alive? Is that how the humans ate it?

A broad grin stretches across his face and he nods jerkily, hurrying towards Alice even if they weren’t that far apart. “Alive. Yes, Ralph has caught it alive. Here...here!” He nods again and kneels down in front of her before pushing the squirming bunny into her arms. “Ralph got it just for you! A gift, you see. Is...is that satisfactory for your hunger?”

the gentle giant was accompanied by alice. the day was spent spread out along the floor. paint, crayons, markers, endless sheets of paper. lucielle even laid flat on her tummy as alice did. she simply watched her create art, gave her instant approval when the tiny brunette asked such questions, and also gave her encouragement.

when it was finally time to clean up, the two of them worked as a team. truthfully, kara was the one who was always tidying around home. luce figured they would beat her to the job and give her a break. as she was putting away the final item in the box, luce felt little arms wrap around her waist. 

a smiling already forming on her lips, coffee-colored eyes gazed down to alice. she took her arms, loosening alice’s grip a bit in order to lean down to her level. ❛ oh, little one… ❜ arms embracing the tiny android, who was so much more than that description. alice amazed luce.   ❛  i had so much fun with you today.  ❜
