There is this very smart way to motivate your child to read and no, it isn't the carrot and stick trivialities! Just pay them per book. Probably create a safe where you will put the money every time they finish a book and then on the birthday, the case will be opened and you will add equal amount probably and buy them a gift of their choice!! Sounds like a plan? What are your thoughts?
