>> There's so, so many things he wishes to gift Taako, most of which were not corporeal. It had taken the reaper days of fussing with several wasted spell slots and... no, that wouldn't do. His creations felt impersonal, stolen from a mold. Maybe that's what the elf would have prefered but for Kravitz it wasn't right. Taako deserved something personal. He deserved to know he was thought of. That someone wanted to hear him tell terrible jokes that made himself snort, to join him on slow days where nothing seems to be fun anymore. That his presence was so radiant that Kravitz, a man whose career was founded on what many considered bleak, found the ability to smile again. He felt warmth for the first time in a decade. So, when Taako returned from a stroll outside his quarters, he found a sticky note hastily slapped onto his door. "Happy Candlenights. Sorry if the colours are wrong. I didn't have time to ask someone. - Kravitz"On his desk was a simple black chain necklace, threaded with gold. Attached was a charm in the shape of a sun, maybe the size of a half dollar. Its typical spurs seemed to be comprised of the same gold weaved into the chain with the addition of glitter faintly coating it. In the centre, a perfect circle of black tourmaline was held by an axis that allowed it to spin. Maybe if someone were to give it a whirl they would find it was enchanted to surround the wearer in a shield of translucent gold, giving off a glow bright enough to blind those on the opposite side. Possibly the interior would shroud someone in a healing warmth. Who knows.
