Yeah, we had a big abstract assignment last week. It was admittedly a bit difficult to actually do abstract, maybe because I'm used to making art that very clearly depicts something, whrether that's fantasy characters or nature scenes.

Either way, I'm here to learn, and learning is probably what I'm doing, even if I don't notice right away!

But I'm quite proud of this one, I think I managed something thought provoking! I decided to re-use a thing from a Practice&Experiment assignment for ease and make it an actual painting, not only because I liked it but also because I didn't have much time left on this assignment.

I dunno why I thought this was content to share, but I am trying out that one dating/friendship app that keeps appearing as an add on this platform.

I started using it just today, and I'm already off to a chill but steady dating/friendship path. I dunno what the other person is looking for in this possible relationship as either partners or friends, but they seem like a vibe despite our different interests.

I might loosely update y'all on how it goes, and will probably refer to this person as Muscles McSports for the sake of their privacy.

Also, I feel the need to mention that I'll be graduating pretty soon, and have applied for college (starting in fall), and will hopefully be able to pull some stuff out of my ass throughout summer.

I can't really promise much, but to prepare for summer:

My "new" phone keeps black-screening me and it's gotten so bad that I'm writing this on Ye Olde Brick!

I'm hoping to get it fixed sometime tomorrow, so that I don't have to suffer for too long.

When shit goes to hell, remember that art (visual, auditory, gustation, etc.) is magic. Those who actively produce art are real life sorcerers, wizards and bards.

They recently had their self portraits hung in the designated Art Class Self Portraits Hallway™️, and they have not only mastered realism, but also time management!!!!!!

I want whatever drugs they have! I'm incredibly jealous!!

(I'd add a photo, but they've all gained my respect as artist. Also it's their desicion if they want to post it on the internet or not)

Being the dad friend is quite fun.

Like, I can't do shit for myself because that's my dad's job, but when my friends don't have the budget for cafeteria lunch because the provided free lunch is trash I will immediately offer to get them something.

And then I'm happy because at least they're eating something instead of starving to death :)
