Yeah, we had a big abstract assignment last week. It was admittedly a bit difficult to actually do abstract, maybe because I'm used to making art that very clearly depicts something, whrether that's fantasy characters or nature scenes.

Either way, I'm here to learn, and learning is probably what I'm doing, even if I don't notice right away!

But I'm quite proud of this one, I think I managed something thought provoking! I decided to re-use a thing from a Practice&Experiment assignment for ease and make it an actual painting, not only because I liked it but also because I didn't have much time left on this assignment.

I dunno why I thought this was content to share, but I am trying out that one dating/friendship app that keeps appearing as an add on this platform.

I started using it just today, and I'm already off to a chill but steady dating/friendship path. I dunno what the other person is looking for in this possible relationship as either partners or friends, but they seem like a vibe despite our different interests.

I might loosely update y'all on how it goes, and will probably refer to this person as Muscles McSports for the sake of their privacy.

My "new" phone keeps black-screening me and it's gotten so bad that I'm writing this on Ye Olde Brick!

I'm hoping to get it fixed sometime tomorrow, so that I don't have to suffer for too long.

Might update y'all, might not. We'll see how it goes.

Update 1: Yesterday night I tried to fix so I could message people from Ye Olde Brick, but was too tired to deal with that shit. I briefly switched back to the Galaxy Flip.

Update 2: Today the problem was just as bad, and now I need to find the PUK for the thing. I have returned to a mix of Ye Olde Brick, mail and Snapchat to communicate with people, in hopes of getting help from close people.

Update 3: Bubba came home early for reasons I won't list, and found the thing the PUK was written in. I am now back in the Galaxy Flip, while the first problem remains.

My brain had apparently tuned it out, as the PUK note was fairly visible. I will now continue with my day, but will be absolutely pissed at my caveman brain for tuning out that specific note.

Wtf.

Update 4: The Galaxy Flip has now black-screened for good. It's responding, it just doesn't trigger the screen visuals. I will hopefully be able to turn it in to have it fixed this afternoon, but I'm once again forced back to Ye Olde Brick.

This is apparently a fairly common bugg with the Galaxy Flip, but I don't like not being able to use it. Ye Olde Brick is very slow, and in turn very dry in terms of entertainment.

Y'all, if someone you know has expressed interest in getting a Galaxy Flip, please inform them of this issue incase they're easily attached to their communication devices.

My parental units have taken the Galaxy Flip back to the store, I will have to survive with Ye Olde Brick for about 1-3 weeks, but I'm hoping it won't take too long.

I'm hoping they're not just saying that to please me, but that I will have it back soon enough. Preferably before I graduate, but I do need to be patient.

Update 9: As per my last update, I've respectfully been informed that all my hours of artistic and linguistic work are completely gone.

Although I was already aware that this was a possible outcome, and I've had the Galaxy Flip back for about 5 days now, I've started seriously grieving my lost work and artistic effort as of yesterday afternoon.

I will attempt to make due with the things I remember and have saved in other places, but can't promise much on account of my still present grief.

In other words, the Galaxy Flip "Adventure" has officially come to an end. I'd be happy to serve as an example, if someone you know doesn't save their work on a regular basis and subsequently makes you anxious for them in any way, or as a reference for other Galaxy Flip users who are just starting to experience or have been experiencing the same issue.

So in conclusion:

Save your digital art progress in the cloud, you never know if/when you'll loose it!

Update 2: Today the problem was just as bad, and now I need to find the PUK for the thing. I have returned to a mix of Ye Olde Brick, mail and Snapchat to communicate with people, in hopes of getting help from close people.
