Over the years, Lasair has become a fabled private detective. No matter how long the case takes, he sticks with it until the end. Also, the fact he’s a fire elemental helps with the fame some. There’s not many Elementals that live in The City, or at least make themselves known. Lasair doesn’t attempt to hide his nature, embracing what he is.

Sebastian read the details of his next job on his phone. This would be an interesting one.

Sebastian here is a mercenary, and takes any sort of work. No matter how dirty. He’s a consummate professional, and rarely fails a job. He’s one of the best mercs in the Capitol District, and doesn’t come cheap.

Jake is taking a rare break, having a nice drink at the Paradise club while listening to the radio. Soon, however, he’ll soon be back to business.

Boris is a member of the motorcycle club (or to some, gang) that’s run by Bruce. While he’s significantly older and more experienced than the shark chimerian, Boris (a draconian/chimerian hybrid) is fine with letting Bruce run things. Boris has other interests that keep him busy...

While on the job he’s dead serious, even cold, when he’s relaxing between jobs a much more jovial side of Sebastian comes out. Here, he’s relaxing poolside at a luxury hotel. Part of his payment for assisting a big client. A client who also happens to own this hotel.

Sebastian is a Chimerian and a mercenary. He’s mostly shark, but has some polar bear genes mixed in giving him his thick pelt. He’s well reknowned merc, having done jobs for everyone from the city government to crime lords. He also has a past with Jake, and Sebastian doesn’t always care much for him.

Bruce is a well liked mechanic, who moonlights as a notorious biker. He and his biker group, while stopping short of anything illegal, are known to stir up trouble. Bruce runs his own mechanic business, specializing in motorcycles of various types. He, and his crew, have also made custom motorcycles and bikes for various clients of various backgrounds.

Lasair has been hunting the beast for a long, long time. They have a nasty history, dating back decades. They wound up what they are now, thanks to the other.

Lasair confronted Korin, before his corruption into what the monster is now, after a failed coup attempt. The legendary hero general had tried to wrestle control of the City government away from civilian leadership. Lasair, then a member of the intelligence branch of the CIPS (City Intelligence and Protection Service), faced off against the seemingly mad General. It did not end well for either of them.

But, due to Lasair willingly sacrificing himself for the citizens of The City, he was given a second chance by hidden powers. They gave him a new life as a Fire Elemental. However, Korin survived as well. Corrupted by a dark force, a thing from outside all realities, he was reborn as Kor.

Have you ever known fear? True primal fear that shakes you down to your very soul. The fear that could only be described as living in a waking nightmare unable to return to reality. That same fear that paralyzes you in your sleep.

Elder dragons once knew fear in the form of the Equal Dragon Weapons, Monstrous creations created by the ancient civilisation to fight the dragon war. Each EDW crafted from the flesh and blood of fallen elder dragons and other monsters.

What if I told you that this fear they once knew could be revived? What if the secrets once thought to be lost have been refound... And improved upon? That the shadowy organisation known as The Company has successfully created their own abominations, using Wyverians and humans as the catalysts instead of the diminishing Elder Dragons.

Beware the hunter with the three scars upon his face, for within him lies dormant a terror beyond reckoning. Dread Claw one of the nine known as Chimerian.

An abomination of four of the biggest beserking monsters we know of. Tigrex, Gore Magala, Devil’jho and Glavenus. With its fog of frenzy and the tailblade glowing a sickly purple, a roar that could sunder mountains and a hunger unending. It was this beast that rendered entire regions of the eastern forest desolate and toxic to all life.

So I’ll ask you one last time. Do you know true fear?
