the real Moonshadow colors

Chimerical colors like stygian blue, self-luminous red, and hyperbolic orange are Moonshadow colors. They’re delightful illusions, visible only in your mind. They’re not real, but you see them anyway.

Dimensional pets are so eye-burn-y because they’re actually supposed create colors that don’t exist.

I found this out by mistake, but it’s hella rad. Chimerical colors are colors that only exist as an afterimage; they don’t exist within the color space of humans. This probably isn’t the case for all of the Dimensional pets, but some of ‘em (like the ones used in the example above) definitely can cause chimerical colors to appear.
