* "Chimie physique" literally translates to "physical chemistry", with "chimie" being used the same way as in English, when you say a couple has "chemistry". I think "physical chemistry" sounds weird in English, so instead I translated it to "physical attraction", which has the advantages of sounding natural and keeping the apparent intended meaning but the disadvantage of losing the science/attraction pun of the original French (which the lyricist may or may not have even had in mind, since there's not really anything else mentioning or making puns about science).
* As far as I can tell, the line seems to be meant to evoke an image of identifying shapes in the clouds. Not sure if I got that across too well in my translation.
* Mangue-passion is a type of dessert flavoring, a combination of mango and passionfruit. Top Google results suggest it's commonly used in things such as cheesecake. I don't think the line "two magnets in a mangue-passion" has anything else idiomatic or culturally significant in it, so it sounds like it's just an image that's absurd on the surface and mostly chosen because it evokes certain metaphorical associations. If I'm wrong, though, please let me know!
