Mr. Rood, of Halifax, arrived April 3rd to start his factory at Chimney Corner. There will be ten lobster factories in operation between Eastern Harbor [Cheticamp] and Port Ban, a distance of 30 miles.

This shack slid down from a cliff behind me. 5 years ago was the last time I saw it and it was pretty old then. Not sure what the equipment inside it was used for but it seems to be some sort of winch system.
