Freddy;

Found wandering alone in an Austrian park, Freddy arrived at Monkey World in 1995. Estimated to be born in 1989, it is assumed he was kept as a pet until being abandoned. Said to be one of the most humanised Chimpanzees rescued by Monkey World - Freddy struggled to understand Chimp behaviour at first, but is now a popular member within Butch’s boisterous bachelor troop.

Zeynep;

Estimated to have been born in 1998, Zeynep made her way to Monkey World in 2004- with a past life that includes confinement on a harboured boat and living caged under a staircase, having originally been smuggled from Nigeria and sold into the illegal Turkish pet trade.

Lulu;

Originally born into a travelling Cypriot circus (est. 1992), Lulu arrived at Monkey World in 2000. She is easily recognisable by her amputated right arm - caused by infection following an attack from her mother during the circus years. Now, Lulu lives a contented life in Sally’s Group, happily greying over the years like Sally herself…

Eddi;

A female Chimp in Paddy’s group, Eddi was born at Monkey World in 2001 - the daughter of Susie and Paddy, who have both since passed away. Eddi is sibling to Seamus, Hebe, Johni & Ash.
