Keeping with my tea theme this week I have a lovely little #kaleidoscopic #pattern that I made from a pic of a #teacup. I thought I'd also share a bit of the process. Pic 2 is the original photo from my son's open night at school. Our adorable and #quaint #littleirishvillage school serves #tea in #chinacups with mis-matched #saucers. As soon as they handed me the cup of tea I knew I was going to have to get a pic of it to make some art with (yeah..I'm totally taking a pic of my son..not the cup of tea on my knee, lol). Pic 3 is the cup and saucer removed from the photo. Pic 4 is the re-colored cup and then I used a kaleidoscopic #distort #effect to #transform it into a #beautiful pattern. I then darkened it a little and turned up the contrast for a #bitofdrama and it's done. (at Sligo, Ireland)
