monopolize
[ @chinchinae ]
rapture, a place kaoru had planned to burn down sometime, but security is rather tight for this club. unfortunate, really. so instead, kaoru decides to take turns monopolizing the droid’s time, preventing them from having to sleep with their shitty human clients. they’re still making money, right? they just don’t have to do the demeaning things expected of them while with kaoru. if he could just buy the droids, free them, that would work, but they’d only be replaced. it’s a vicious cycle, one kaoru is all too familiar with. humans are fucking disgusting.
he wanders through the crowds, pushing people away from him on the dance floor. they try grabbing at him, grinding on him, just because he’s in the crowd and he hates it. he remembers causing a scene in here one time, just a small something with one of the other customers. they’d met outside an hour later and kaoru decked him so hard his nose broke. kaoru hasn’t seen that bastard back since, and he’d better not or a broken nose is going to be the least of his problems.
he heads straight for a spot where droids are picked up from normally and picks one out a random, one he doesn’t think he’s seen before, or perhaps he just hasn’t paid much attention. “so…” he says as he walks right up to him, keeping a respectable amount of distance. “how much for the whole night?”
