Dead Kokichi cheering up dead Chihiro

I have started this story yet but I did a little doodle at school and decided to share it with some context. Basically, it's a haunted school au, they are one of the ghosts there. Maybe I'll share a document with the information some day, until then here.

I'll give a brief explanation. Hope's Peak Academy has been haunted by it's past students who have died on those grounds, the school had to be shut down and was never touched again. 4 teens; Makoto, Komaru, Shuichi and Hajime decided to check it out per Shuichi's request.

hmmm, maybe for valentines, i'd be curious to see your headcanons for.... maybe shuichi and ryoma? ( saihoshi i think is the ship name? ) or if not, maybe kokichi and chihiro? ( honestly it's up to you whether you wanna make their dynamics romantic or platonic, i just think they're neat )

ryoma and shuichi are both introverts, but occasionally ryoma likes to take him out. he’s one of those guys that knows all the best understated parts of a town, the cute unoccupied parks and the corn mazes and picnic bench lakes. places not swarming with people, but still public, because sometimes it feels like they’re hiding even when they’re not ashamed. they like doing puzzles together - ryoma is a surprising challenge, and they make it a sport to see who can complete their picture fastest. the loser has to be the big spoon for the night.

chihiro doesn’t trust kokichi as far as he can throw him, at first. kokichi reminds him too much of the people that used to make fun of him - but as time passes, he realises that kokichi’s never mean about the stuff that counts. just stupid stuff he laughs at anyway. kokichi likes leaving little trinkets to make chihiro laugh in his locker and desk - little chatterboxes on purple paper with vulgar messages scrawled in glittery ink. the others are scandalised, thinking poor chihiro is going to get corrupted, that his innocent ears must never see anything so impure - but they’re all shocked to the bone when they hear him laugh harder than any time he has when he’s been with them. the only one who isn’t surprised is kokichi, because sometimes it feels like kokichi’s the only one who doesn’t underestimate him.
