“You ain’t supposed t’be here.” It wasn’t that Eggsy had any official authority, but, if asked, it was assured that he could provide the identification to imply that he did.

“Ah, yes. Remember that bit I told you with my species changing genders? That should accurately describe it. SOMETHING like that.”

The cuisine on this planet is a NOVELTY. He won’t call it great — honestly it’s hardly even good — but the custom of physically preparing and consuming meals in more than a few bites is enticing.
Koschei shuffles forward in the lunch line and considers hypnotising his way to the front instead.
Leave it to me to find and want to adopt the one dog in Nepal that’s actually exceedingly magical. Crocuta’s were, he believed, just a zoological variant on a hyena, yet another of Pliny’s endless list of fuck-ups. But as it turned out they were quite a bit more confusing than even Pliny’s descriptions, given the scraggly thing he’d taken a liking to had not only said his name in a human voice, but then demanded that “play tag” with it.
It had then promptly opened a wormhole and hopped through it. And while there was a moment of serious temptation where he thought it might be better just to walk away, the larger part of him couldn’t turn down the opportunity to interact with what was now a confirmed mythological being that, in real dog fashion, just wanted to play with him.
Of course, popping through the wormhole into a very different kind of marketplace than he’d been in a moment before, one he was quite sure wasn’t even on Earth, raised its own problems. When he couldn’t scry where the dog had scurried off to, he picked a kindly, at least mostly human looking face in the crowd to ask for assistance.
“Excuse me, you wouldn’t happen to have seen a talking dog jump out of a portal and run by a moment ago, would you?”

“Why do you have…remind me to never walk into your kitchen unannounced again.”
“Yeah, whatever. Hi to you too. Please use this test.” John replied, shoving a pregnancy test in Bill’s face. If she was pregnant, she needed to stop travelling with the Doctor. Who knew what the space-time continuum could do to a baby? John certainly didn’t - but according to his books it would be bad.

still unsteady on her feet, she grips onto a nearby tree. after struggling, she reaches her full height, which is slightly shorter than it was before, she notices. the world feels new- it’s still the same world, only seen through brand new eyes, but there’s a face she recognises. gears click and whirr inside a brand new brain, putting a name to the features. she snaps her fingers, points excitedly, she knows who this is, it’s brilliant when that happens.
“bill! bill-” there’s a pause, a hard swallow while her hands reach to her face, her throat, and then fall back at her sides. was that... her voice? “well... this is different.”

“---No offense, ma’am, but that sounds like a whole lotta crazy talk.”
