What's with the whole recent copyright situation with Bagdasarian Productions?
Oh, where do I start? It's a nightmare and a half.
Bagprod has been up to this since before ChipmunkMania was even conceived. They really REALLY don't like fans uploading the songs and episodes. But yet they refuse to release the media themselves. This is the third, maybe fourth time that I've gone through this in the past seven years. It's a neverending cycle. They monetize my videos, make money off my work, and then at random they decide they don't want the uploads to exist anymore and they terminate the channel.
We all tried to play nice. Tried to play by their rules. They told us they'd find a place to host the media themselves. So we listened. We hid our uploads from the public eye and waited. Fans stopped making content alltogether. They did nothing. They continue to do nothing but throw their weight around and attack their fandom for trying to preserve their media. So I'm done with their shit. And many others are as well.
ChipmunkMania will die with the universe. There isn't a damn thing they can do to stop me. They can either release their media, or I will do it for them. The game ends now. I'm done playing by their rules. I'm done being nice.
