I woke up this morning and choose to ruin my week by investing myself in danganronpa yet again and started it off by inviting death threats into my inbox🙏🙏

Because I've been having so many chigami thoughts lately I feel like it's making me have more Chihiro/Toko thoughts

Just by like association

Like Jill saying something perverted when someone's trying to get her to take a bath like "what? Are you going to take one with me? Are you going to bathe me?" leading to Chihiro being Chihiro and being "well if you think it would help then I will" and then they do and like yeah it kind of does help a little having someone else there and continuously reminding her that she's ok and everything's fine

This is in a “everyone already knows or at least Toko is someone who knows” world if that's not clear. It doesn't really work in a world where Toko doesn't know because Chihiro would prioritize keeping their secret. I do think it fit's Chihiro well in a world where she does know though. Since then it can play more into their self sacrificial nature and need to be helpful to their friends.

Also just the fact Toko canonically is one of the people that find Chihiro attractive (even though it's Jill that says it but they do share that kind of stuff so-) (but also that I think it's the only character other then Byakuya she says anything like that about?? but don't quote me on that I don't feel like scrubbing through a let's play to check right now)

it makes me think it would be neat to see her become similarly fixated on Chihiro as she is on Byakuya.

A very Angel and Devil situation for her.

Or even just in a Chigami au not responding the way the class or anyone expects and ending up sticking around them all the time anyway and just like accepting it.

also after like three new novels that had a Byakuya type as the LI then just all of a sudden the newest one having a bit of a cry baby sweet heart LI that makes everyone in the class look at Chihiro immediately like huh- wonder what happened there... while Toko refuses to look at them

Another ship where Chihiro's gender exploration would, I think, really help open Toko up to a lot of stuff she's internalized! This could be true for most Chihiro ships, but I think it's especially poignant for Toko "repressed herself into creating another person who commits serial murder." She's Just Got A Leg Up

These two. How do I put this. As the kids say. These two are the floppiest, saddest wet pancakes of a person that could ever exist. These two are both individually marshmallow chicks from Easter that are slowly melting on a stick. This is a ship for people who like sad, wet dogs.

Do you know those influencer couples who spend so much time taking pictures of how cute they look and their coordinated outfits and their carefully-arranged meals that it's physically impossible that they have time in their lives to actually, like, talk to each other in any way? Yeah

These two insist on A Persona TM to hide their true thoughts. This is especially clear in their Summercamp Friendship Event, where Celestia talks about a game she won once, which Angie diverts into God, which Celestia diverts back to Luck, which Angie diverts back to God, etc etc. These are two very lonely people who each have a set of brick walls keeping them from seeing that their yards are managed precisely the same
