Women in Mahabharata - Kumbhinasi
She is the wife of the gandharva Angarparna-Chitraratha (also, Bhagnaratha). Her husband is challenged by Arjuna when they are bathing in the river in the early hours of dawn.
Arjuna defeats Angarparna and takes him to Yudhishthira as prisoner. Kumbhinasi follows them and negotiates his release.
Angarparna teaches Arjuna the ancient equivalent of Superman's laser eyes (or most probably better observation power or something similar) and Arjuna gives him a weapon Drona had obtained from his guru Agniveshya.
Angarparna also gifts Yudhishthira several horses and chariots, something the gandharvas are famous for.
