childe is golden retriever coded in the same way that golden retrievers were bred to be hunting dogs. baizhu will make an offhand comment about wondering if a whopperflower or regisvine could be dissected and used for medicinal purposes and the next day childe drags a whopperflower corpse up to bubu pharmacy or brings him a regisvine core. baizhu is impressed and also concerned because fym you just went out to get this monster for me. why.

idk i like childe’s attack dog dynamic and it’s even more entertaining when you pair him with a doctor. who doesn’t like to hurt people. like, baizhu uses pressure points instead of fighting.
anyway really enjoy exploring their dynamic. probably fwb or something but i’m too lazy to go into depth.
childe learns that baizhu can’t travel to snezhnaya and therefore can’t meet his family. so he immediately heads back to morepesok and says “hey guys let’s go to liyue for a little while” and they’re all like. What. but eventually they roll out and head to liyue. and the first thing childe does is “trip” and break his nose. so they take him to bubu pharmacy and baizhu almost has a heart attack when he sees the entire ginger army pull up. gui’s soul leaves his body and he passes away. his family is staring at him like he’s crazy. childe is completely unbothered.

not a fan of how baizhu turned out i guess i’m cursed to never do him justice. he’s too gorgeous i fear. anyway do you think childe ever wonders what he did to deserve someone like baizhu.
