This LGBT Info Was Way Too Hard To Find So I'm Keeping It Here
This is Chloe Carter, a Ziegfeld Girl, and Jean Acker, a Vaudeville and film actress.
Chloe was born in Tennessee 06/21/1903 and moved to Illinois during childhood. She started working with Ziegfeld in the 1920's under the name Cleo Cullen. Her shows include "She's My Baby", "Lady Fingers", and "Showgirl". She met songwriter Harry Ruby in 1928. They married 09/09/1930 and moved to Beverly Hills. She met and fell in love with Jean Acker in 1933 and the next year she filed for divorce, her husband punching her in the jaw when she told him. She was escorted to the divorce hearing by Jean, who corroborated her statement.
Jean Acker was born 10/23/1893 in New Jersey. She began appearing in Vaudeville shows in the early 1910's and films by 1918. Her silent film work includes "Checkers", "The Roundup", and "See My Lawer". In her earlier career Grace Darmond became her mentor and lover; later on Jean would have a brief affair with Russian actress, Alla Nazimova. She was part of the "Sewing Circle", a group for lesbian and bisexual women who were forced to hide their identity. Jean met Rudolph Valentino and they married November, 1919, with Jean locking him out of their honeymoon hotel room and never consummating the marriage. They divorced in 1922 and Jean lost all of her savings in the stock market crash of 1929.
Chloe and Jean had a devoted relationship and lived in an apartment they bought together in Los Angeles. They continued taking small roles in films and remained together until Jean's death in 1978. Chloe died 10/28/1993 at the age of 90. The two are buried next to each other in Holy Cross Cemetery in Culver City, California.
Chloe: Hold on! I’m having one of those things... a headache with pictures.
Ann: What the fuck?
Regan: she’s having an idea.

Benji: One late night, you are up in your bedroom when you hear your mom calling you downstairs. You are halfway down the staircase when all of a sudden, you see your mom in front of her bedroom door, terrified, she whispers, 'Don't go downstairs. I heard her, too!
Benji: Who do you believe?
Chloe: The one calling me downstairs. They're lesbians, not ghosts.
