akram salim!!!! must be protected at all costs!!!!!
And Branwell! What’s he doing? What’s he thinking? To have such a hopeless grasp on the realities of what comes next. Are we nothing to him? Does he even see us?
Another reason that should be the top reason for season renewal; I need to see Merritt gets the therapy and medical needs she needs
Idk how it went in the books, if they got back to her, or if the new book/chapters continued on with new old case in the next book/chapters,, but pls?
Merritt may have been a thorny character; she was flawed, it's pretty much like how Carl is an a s s but he's also just some guy using whatever coping mechanism he knew and comfortable with
She tried to use Kirsty's evidence but was prevented by the Lord Advocate *rolls eyes
After four years, exhausted, broken, frustrated, injured beyond belief, she wanted to die and begged her kidnappers to kill her, and when she finally figured out who they were....Merritt couldn't accept it, no, she was going to yell and scream at them. She wasn't taking it sitting down. They kidnapped and tortured her and it wasn't even in retaliation of what she had done, it was in what they thought she had done
That's why for four years it never occurred to her that she was kidnapped because of Harry Jennings
This woman is a fighter as unlikable and selfish as she may be to people around her. But then lots of men are unlikable and stupid too but we seem to be able to bear them better than women
Odd references indicate the daily routine of life at the parsonage at this time. Breakfast — at least for Emily and Anne — was oatmeal porridge — a somewhat surprising choice to the fastidious Ellen. A portion of this meal was always reserved by them for the dog, Grasper, which appears to have been a terrier of some kind. In the afternoons the young people would walk out on the moors if the weather was favourable. Emily — her reserve temporarily forgotten — Anne and Branwell would go ahead, fording the streams and placing stepping-stones for Charlotte and Ellen who followed in their wake.

I have a video to make that I keep putting off, so I decided to paint Merritt Lingard, my beloved. I'm still bad at CSP
underneath it all we're just savages
so, i really think this is the best thing i've created this year…
