Quirky, quick-witted and quantifiably quality, Dept. Q is quite possibly the hottest crime series on television. "I am here. I am listening."
Carl being a pretty awesome step-parent by encouraging Jasper to talk about the frightening incident in the Ice Cream shop. Jasper is shocked as Carl talks about being 'two people' to compartmentalise his roles as Police Carl and Home Carl. It's the only way to cope with what he has to deal with day to day in his job. Jasper has now had a glimpse of Carl's other world and he needs to talk about it.

I'm celebrating the fact that people who loved Matthew Goode in Dept. Q are finding other gems in his filmography. Great to see people discovering their new favourites. This one has a lot of love -
'Stoker' starring Matthew with Mia Wasikowska and Nicole Kidman. Directed by Park Chan-Wook and released in 2013.
Find it.
Watch it.
Test your moral compass! (You'll see what I mean).
Information from Searchlight pictures -
After India's (Mia Wasikowska's) father dies in an auto accident, her Uncle Charlie (Matthew Goode), who she never knew existed, comes to live with her and her emotionally unstable mother Evelyn (Nicole Kidman). Soon after his arrival, she comes to suspect this mysterious, charming man has ulterior motives, but instead of feeling outrage or horror, this friendless girl becomes increasingly infatuated with him.

Leo Woodall calls his 'Trusted friend' Matthew Goode on BBC Radio 1
Greg James hosted Leo Woodall on Radio 1 in May - including making some calls to his friends - and Matthew answered! Follow the link below. The call with Matthew is after about 5 minutes - and he was on his way the EDINBURGH!! 💃🏼

My darling, my dear, do you know where I can find the entire 2009 interview of Matthew with Jonathan Ross? my instagram algorithm blessed me with one small clip but I imagine there is more, right?
Yep - here it is -
The actor talks about working on 'Watchmen'
Hey, I saw you comment in a tag under a post once, how Matthew Goode has hot scenes with clothes on, and I was wondering what other scenes are there besides the one in Stoker?
Oooo - I mean, come on, when is he ever NOT hot?
I'd go for the scenes where the chemistry sizzles - any scene with Vanessa Kirby in 'The Crown' season 2 episode 4 specifically. Last 30 mins is 🔥.
He does quite a lot of smouldering in A Discovery of Witches - I think his introducing himself to Diana, their first dinner together and any scene where he's dancing - which he seems to do a lot of 🕺🏻 Seriously - making him dance the tango was instantly swoon worthy. HOW DARE THEY?
