A clean breakup where there wasn't any bad blood between the two would be ideal. I mean, of course initially both of them would be hurt. But then they move on - and maybe they'd still be friends? At the very least they'd be cool with each other if they ran into the other at a store or something despite being exes. People break up - sometimes it's on bad terms, and sometimes good terms. Lol, mind you, I'm aware in canon they're still very much together. But I'm just guessing you want some kind of explanation as to my mindset when I'm doing widowtracer art in regards to Emily. I just like to draw my ship. S'all there is to it. I'd mention in a previous ask that on the wild chance that Blizzard did make widowtracer canon, I wouldn't want it to be at the cost of Emily's life or anything like that. I remember seeing that supposed leak going around, and killing off Emily just seems so sloppy.
