Oh, I got those frames back in Milan, almost 3 years ago now. They’re from a eyewear franchise called Nau! Unfortunately, their stores are all in Italy (there’s one in Barcelona and one in New Delhi and that’s it).

But it’s a pretty standard model. I saw very similar frames at Specsavers here in London, and I’m sure you could too at a generic optical store wherever you live.(if there’s a “”men section””, they’re probably there).

How do you think Hannibal and Will will meet again in S3?

I would love a sprawling chase across europe. But budget.

I think Hannibal will be unable to stay away for too long. He'll return to the US and stay in the houses of patients he's inhereited from.

This could be a couple of years into the future for Hannibal and Will. The show will have to give Will time to recover. I want to see him meet and fall in love with Molly because I WANT TO SEE HIM HAPPY. 

But yes. I wrote up some of the things Hannibal might do to Will whilst he's on the run at the end of season 1. 

They included a HUGE maze designed to trigger every feeling Will has tried to bury. Like, that yourself storage unit in SOTL style. Huge US flag included. 

I really want Hannibal to reflect in some manner on what he and Will have done to eachother.

I want them to communicate through personals and Will to keep it secret from the FBI.

But I want the first piece of MAJOR contact Will has for months to be with Hannibals still alive Aunt and Uncle. As I said before. I want the finding of Robert and Murasaki to be what interests Will enough to bring him back to the case.

But yes. some random thoughts on that.

Just wanted to stop by and say that -- despite having only followed you for a short while -- I really love your blog (and as something as a film-trivia-maniac, I look forward to those especially). Quick question, though: Have you seen the German film "The Lives of Others" (or "Das Leben der Anderen")? If so, what did you think of it? If not, well, I can't help but recommend it -- it's a personal favourite of mine :)

Ah, thanks! This reminds me that I haven’t done those film trivia posts in a while. They are fun to make. I always end up learning cool things about a film from those posts. Re: The Lives of Others, I have seen it and it is a fantastic film indeed, one of my favorites from Germany. I think of only two films when the topic of East Germany is brought up (since there aren’t very many films about this), and they are Goodbye Lenin! and The Lives of Others, both exceptional but completely different in tone. I felt the storytelling in The Lives of Others was flawless - I was transfixed from beginning to end, with the last half of the film I found to be completely relentless. Florian Henckel von Donnersmarck had complete control over the flow of the story and for someone’s first stab at feature filmmaking, this was a masterful effort. It’s rare to see a director who has such a deliberate hand and a singular vision for what he wants to tell in as early as their first film. The way tension was gradually built up, ultimately culminating with that gripping ending - I get chills just thinking about it. The cast was also phenomenal - they formed the heart of the story, really. For those who haven’t seen it, I too can’t recommend it enough.
