So it’s larger than Ceres, larger than THE MOON, and has either collapsed into a sphere under its own gravity or has possibly physics-defying support structures allowing it to remain erect on a super-earth or small gas giant sized planet (The orbit of such a mass must be fascinating, as the Tower component would be significant enough to affect its partner). Not to mention the structure...how do floors in a spherical tower work? how does GRAVITY work?
Considering the attrition thus far...I’d estimate maybe 10/400 max make it to the top? That’d make 3.9m at least that got wiped out trying, almost certainly far more. It’s probably not even 1/400 successes on average, and I have no idea how far back history goes. That’s brutal! And also a lot of Rankers. Whatever reward is at the top must not be as universe-shattering as I thought.
Ah, that makes sense. So it all comes back to the “money” that they use to buy Banana Black and/or climb the Tower and void horrifying painful death.
