Gonna agree with you on the content thing. Boosting content creators and validating them is very important but basing your entire content off the need for validation becomes very toxic mentally bc the fact remains, the internet is a void.

yes essentially that; u phrased it really well haha ^^ boosting can help a lot and yeah the internet is a void :’) so i think at the bare minimum, creators should at least enjoy what they are creating and have fun with it and see value in their own work

So it’s larger than Ceres, larger than THE MOON, and has either collapsed into a sphere under its own gravity or has possibly physics-defying support structures allowing it to remain erect on a super-earth or small gas giant sized planet (The orbit of such a mass must be fascinating, as the Tower component would be significant enough to affect its partner). Not to mention the structure...how do floors in a spherical tower work? how does GRAVITY work?

Considering the attrition thus far...I’d estimate maybe 10/400 max make it to the top? That’d make 3.9m at least that got wiped out trying, almost certainly far more. It’s probably not even 1/400 successes on average, and I have no idea how far back history goes. That’s brutal! And also a lot of Rankers. Whatever reward is at the top must not be as universe-shattering as I thought.

Ah, that makes sense. So it all comes back to the “money” that they use to buy Banana Black and/or climb the Tower and void horrifying painful death.

Has anyone actually doubted Yubel’s feelings for judai? I thought it was more the lack of obvious reciprocation on Judai’s side. (Because fusing your souls together for eternity isn’t a strong enough confession i guess)

I don't know, I just know I've seen people before state that ther's 'no canon pairings in yugioh' and I'm just like, ???? cause like ok there's no kiss but like, a romantic confession from one half and the other half willingly choosing to fuse their souls together seems pretty damn canon to me (it's not Judai's fault s4 didn't built on that relationship as much as we expected them to)

Even by that logic, the Digimon in the real world should've been affected first due to much longer exposure by far. Unless the infection spreads a lot more rapidly in the digital world and the distortions than it does in the real world.

There is a possibility the infection could only spread through physical contact or if you were within a certain vicinity to Meicoomon; like maybe she’s constantly “radiating” the infection but her radius is like 10 meters so if you stand at least 11 meters away from her you’re fine?

Regardless, yeah this could’ve been explained maybe a little bit more

What do you think of how the show keeps using Marinette's anxiety as a gag? It was fine initially but with each season, it just adds to this image of how Marinette irrationally overreacts to everything bc she's so silly. It doesn't help that other characters also react very sarcastically when she's having a meltdown. Maybe I'm being overly critical? But as someone who also regularly deals with anxiety, I wish they properly represented it in one episode instead of it just being gag material.

Every time I think they're coming close to treating it seriously, they brush it off like it was nothing and she just goes on about her daily life as usual. I mean, this girl has watched her partner be erased from existence to protect her, she had to be the last person standing during the kissing zombie apocalypse because she's the only one that can fix it. That would destroy anyone's mental health. Yet, she's not allowed to feel any serious negative emotions. The few times she's come close to breaking were used to make the audience wonder if she was getting akumatized or not and she had to pull it together in less than five seconds. Her role as the protector/healer/Guardian forbids her from feeling things and actually processing her emotions. It's all going to be too much eventually and a full breakdown is pending. At least it would if the writers took her emotions seriously. I think SU did a good job representing anxiety and teaching the audience some methods to help cope with it. I don't think the writing team is that capable or self aware enough to pull something like that off though. I'm going to save my final thoughts on how her anxiety is handled as the show progresses (or doesn't) but I've always found accurate representations of anxiety somewhat comforting, like I'm not alone and it really is a serious issue.

Do you have any idea if Meiko found Meikuumon before the Chosen Children or around the same time? Because that'd imply that the super suspicious organization was already aware of the existence of Digimon. Or was it after?

The interview with the Director suggest that she became a Chosen around the same time the other kids did. I’m assuming she became a Chosen in 1999, probably after the events of Adventure took place.
