in response to the massive amounts of limeblood questions i see on my dash, heres a suggestion: we saw with the alpha kids that sburb/sgrub/swhathaveyou does not give a shit about when you are, so if you want a limeblood just make them non-modern and they can still play just fine. alternia apparently had computer technology for quite a while, so theres no reason why everyone in a session has to be in the same time period.

The time shenanigans are possible in the Alpha Kids timeline only because there was SBURB technology available thanks to the other sessions that had already occurred. For a limeblood to be in an alpha timeline first they'd need to be in a beta timeline, which has already been stated time and again that it's not possible unless you want to rear your AU head. - N

it's implied ectobiology must be performed in BOTH iterations of a session in the event of a scratch. karkat did ectobiology in his post-scratch session and john did it in his pre-scratch session. logically speaking it wouldn't make sense for only one session to do so anyway, as scratching a session resets the universe (and the game) altogether.

Nnnnoooo, it's explained clearly that there's only one iteration of ectobiology needed, Skaia simply sends the babies to different universes and timelines thanks to the Scratch. - N
