Fic Writers Week 2017: Day One

Words Of Validation - Fic Readers, take some time to leave new comments / Fic Writers, share some of the comments that stuck with you the most.

I’m going in chronological order for this, so first, some of the comments that have stuck with me haven’t been comments, exactly, but art. Like, artists drawing fanart, particularly of my OC’s, which just makes me smile thinking about it. (Even if I get super embarrassed to look at them directly for long periods of time.) 

For actual words, off to Livejournal! Where I should really fix my theme because apparently Photobucket doesn’t like me anymore! It’s fucking amazing how much shit I produced that started off with “@ninjatwins or @jukeboxhound made me do it”.

It’s also amazing how much of the comment threads are pretty much me and @ninjatwins and/or @jukeboxhound shooting the shit with only tangential links to the fic. (The Livejournal link leads to my ff7 tag, which is miraculously holds a lot of fic.)

I’ve got an InsaneJournal, too, but I didn’t format it well so I don’t want to dive through everything to find comments. orz

Now I should go to the Fanfiction.net days, which were also days where I was super depressed and the Soul Series was trying to get me out of it.

(That fic is a one-shot. A lot of the comments didn’t realize that. Of course my dumb ass didn’t mark it as “complete” and now that’s kind of a moot point because... umm... it’s been years? I mean to go back and revisit it but then I remember how Namco did House Sorel in the rest of the Soul Series and I’m just upset.)

And now for AO3. I’ve got this weird relationship with AO3 because I still think of it as “This is where the Good Fic goes, and obviously my fic is trash” even though they’ve said they’ve wanted all manner of fannish thing.

Anyway, the organization of challenges and exchanges on AO3 make me get out of a non-writing stupor from December to March and then once again in June and July so... good. Which is why I read this one comment and I’m just “I did that? My writing did that?”

Who developed romantic feelings first?

Zack. Totally Zack. Went head over heels not long emotionally not long after he did literally. It was puppy love at first, but then turned a bit more serious later.

Who is their biggest “shipper?”

Cloud. Totally Cloud!

When did they have their first kiss and under what circumstances?

Aerith kissed him in the Church, on a day they were feeling lazy and just relaxing with the flowers.

Who confessed their feelings first?

Aerith!

What was their first official date?

It was probably associated with them wandering around, giving away flowers and making people happy.

How do they feel about double dates/group dates?

Aerith and Zack have a lot of love to give. OT4 4ever.

What was their first fight over and how did they get past it?

They never got a chance to have a major fight, and they’re not one for minor fights.

Which one is more easily made jealous?

They’re kinda equal in this, just in different ways/ over different things..

Who’s the cuddly one? What their favourite cuddling position?

Zack. Zack is a very touchy person and will take it in every way he can get it.

Are they hand holders?

Have you seen them?! Oh god yes

How long do they wait before sleeping together for the first time? What’s the circumstances?

They don’t exactly jump into it, as Zack kinda let Aerith set the pace of their relationship. She wanted to make sure before they went that far, so it wasn’t that long before the mission that totally Didn’t Happen.

Who tops?

Aerith. No question in my mind. Nobody ever expects it, either.

What’s the worst first they’ve ever gotten into?

Who does the shopping and the cooking?

They share duties. Aerith’s the better cook, though Zack isn’t exactly bad.

Which one is more organized and prone to tidiness?

Zack. Military is good for that, at least.

Who proposes?

They never got that far, sadly. If they had, Aerith would have.

Do they have children? How many?

As many as they could properly take care of. If they couldn’t physically have children, they’d adopt. There were plenty of orphans around after Meteor, after all. Hi Denzel.

So am I going to be the one to ask porn of what, or is it that everyone else already knows of what so they’re not bothering to ask? Whatever. “What’s it of?”

Nobody knows and nobody else has asked =D It's Fallout 4 related, so nobody else is really in this fandom.
