KOPPELMAN: Like, in high school, if you were teased, would you take that with you to the next thing or could you leave it?
DILLON: No. So, teasing is, I think, a really good, a good thing to bring up. “Compartmentalization” is the word that comes to mind. You know, the amount of —
KOPPELMAN: Oh, so like a serial killer!

I cannot stress enough that the plot of s3 is literally evil soviets doing evil experiments in a secret evil base under a shopping mall jhdhkdfgk MANY choices being made since then
PLEASE>!>!<@>!@M i've been so out of the loop......... i did not have an inkling of this
@crowleys-snek-walk it's SO bonkers, also the other thing that is different (that i found just from flipping through the last five pages of the book) is that in the BOOK, sherlock's childhood trauma is that his mom was having an affair and his dad killed both of them. they don't ask him the name of the dude and it's professor moriarty (his and mycroft's childhood maths tutor) who gives him the terrible news, thus he buries the horrible memory and associates prof moriarty with the root of all evil, etc etc. in the FILM it's professor moriarty himself that sherlock caught fucking his mom djkajdkskfjksdbjs
