So I binged With Every Heartbeat in like a day and Dakota Winchester is in the top 5 love interests of all time. Probably the only visual novel type of story that made me ugly cry for hours after reading it wtf. Definitely a must read book if you can handle the warnings.

Upon reading With Every Heartbeat and A Scandalous Proposal I think I have figured out my problem with the single love interest book. So far Witness and The Nanny Affair have been very sex heavy, focusing more on the physical relationship then the character development (IMO, I gave up on Witness). The VIP books had 1 sex scene each and that made sense for the LI. It gives you more room to love those characters and build a relationship between them and the MC before hopping into bed.
I mean sometimes it's fun to read about immediately animal attraction but we seem to sacrifice the character development. I can't think of anything interesting or important that has happened in the Nanny affair at all. You could cut most of it and it wouldn't change Sam or his relationship to MC. I don't feel the same way about Simon or Dakota. I think that a the stuff that happened matter to who they are by the end of the story and their relationship with MC makes sense as what it is.
Or maybe I am just Biased because they are my favorite. 🤔
PSA: FOR THOSE WHO ARE GOING TO HAVE VIP
Just want to warn everyone who'll be purchasing VIP to put up some tags on their posts so those of us who won't buy it don't get spoiled (bc we might purchase it in the future). It's just a fair thing to do bc being spoiled is the worst thing to happen to a reader.
