Pakistani Cowboy (Part II) . . . A cowboy reimagined in the Cholistan desert 🏜 Details within the piece: The hat is made to resemble the colourful fabrics used for turbans while the fabric attached to the belt is 'ajrak', a design typically associated with Sindhi heritage and also used in Cholistan. The bright fabrics used on the horse are also related to those used in Cholistan (the black markings were something I saw used on camels and found interesting! :) ) Finally, in the distance, there stands the Derawar Fort which is famous in the region and was built in the 9th Century.
