Survivor WLA shed find in Birmingham, AL found by @nickhaints in his words - "I've always dreamed about finding an old bike in the "cut". Birmingham has so many dirty alleys, critter suburbs, old school neighborhoods.... and I've always known, in my head, that there has to be a chopper of the past hiding in one of those garages or backyards. There's chopper history in this city, Bowles has researched a lot of it and old timers that come by the shop have told us stories. This one was hiding in a dirt floor shed in east Birmingham. It's a "real deal" survivor and it has the parts and brief history, that I was told, to prove it. I like to imagine that it came from a legendary Birmingham club of the past that a few of us have heard stories of. It would make sense considering the look of the bike and the area of town that it was in, but I could get no confirmation. It really needs to be on display somewhere. Just like most shit similar that you see, it's way cooler in person. However, after a quick look over.... a battery, fresh fluids, and a squeaky clean carb.... I'm confident it'll start right up.
