Day Two: Your Scholar playing in the leaves with friends

I don’t know if “set the leaves in the yard you were supposed to be gathering up on fire to make roasted sweet potatoes” but that’s more or less what panned out here. You can see in the bg @lycanicnovelist and @cottonandpennies ‘s Scholars doing the traditional ‘play’.

Tadashi’s having an internal conniption over whether to yell at these guys for setting things on fire or to go on over and get some good ole yakiimo like the Japanese man he is.

Update: He got his potato.
