Pardon me asking, but Choronu?
Oh no problem! I love getting questions! :>
Choronu is more commonly spelled Hauron or Hurun. He is a Canaanite deity known especially from the city of Ugarit.
Choronu is a chthonic deity heavily associated with magic, healing, and protection. He was commonly invoked in very elaborate healing rituals against venomous bites from snakes and scorpions. In the most complex of these rituals, he marries the Mother-of-Horses, a (demi-)goddess who is daughter of the sun goddess Shapash. Choronu and Shapash tend to collaborate in magical rituals through their chthonic aspects.
As with other more famous Canaanite deities (Ba’al Hadad, Anat, Astarte, Reshep), Choronu was imported into neighboring Egypt. (This is where the other spellings of his name come from.) His protective/apotropaic powers made him in high demand for an imported god, especially during the reign of Ramesses II:
